Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, Selena, Frank Sinatra, Peabo Bryson, Reba McIntyre, the Jacksons, and Gladys Knight are among 300-plus artists who’ve recorded Pamela Phillips Oland’s songs. Anne Murray and Dave Loggins’ recording of her #1 song "Nobody Loves Me Like You Do" has logged well over a million airplays. A career lyricist who defies categorization, she writes in styles from R&B to country, pop to rock, jazz to gospel. Her movie work includes her 2004 Genie Award-nominated ("best original song in a motion picture") end-title song for "Blizzard," the end-title to the forthcoming "Puerto Vallarta Squeeze," and the "Digga Digga Dog" theme to 102 Dalmatians. Her TV work includes J*A*G, The Sopranos, Xena: Warrior Princess (3 songs for the cult favorite "Bitter Suite" episode) and all songs (music & lyrics) for the award-winning Kids Ten Commandments. She’s the author of two popular music industry books, "The Art Of Writing Great Lyrics," and "The Art of Writing Love Songs," and is currently co-writing 2 musicals.
